Nikon has release nikon d5000 , whic is low in cost and have almost the same fuction as a Nikon d90.Not yet release and its going to be launched in May of 2009.The only thing i newly see if Vair Angle monitor , where you can twist and see it and usefull when you are taking live view of ur self .:)
